Providing education, advocacy, and access for birthing families.
Our Mission
Snuggle House Foundation seeks to change the state of maternal and infant wellbeing for black and brown communities. By providing doula and midwifery services, prenatal wellness, and education resources for families, we support birthing individuals and families during the most precious moments of their lives!
We understand that the mental and emotional well-being of familes play a vital role in health outcomes! Some services we offer are, prenatal/postpartum yoga classes, massage/acupuncture, non-judgmental safe and healthy spaces, meditation services, and spiritual wellness.
Birth Support
We provide emotional and physical support to families from preconception to parenthood by providing evidence-based information to communities. Building relationships through open lines of communication. Empowering families by providing birth planning education and resources, birthing support, postpartum support, partner support, and lactation support.
Perinatal Wellness
We believe in empowering families by providing birth planning education and resources. Baby wearing education, lactation consultations, birth classes, and fertility planning are some ways we empower and educate the families we serve.
Education & Advocacy
“Snuggle House Foundation is a community-based perinatal health organization for social justice.”

Why it Matters?
The maternal mortality rate for black women in the U.S was 3 times higher than that of white women in 2020 according to the CDC. This is a direct cause of systemic racism! There is a NEED for safe spaces for black birth. Snuggle House Foundation is the pillar of change to provide those safe spaces.
